The Importance of Student Email (HuskyMail)
The University routinely sends important information via e-mail to all Undergraduate students at their UConn e-mail address.
It is important that your UConn student check his/her University e-mail account regularly. The Office of Financial Aid Services, Registrar's Office, Department of Residential Life are just some of the departments on campus that rely exclusively on email to reach students.
Students should not forward their HuskyMail to any other personal account because it may come in as "spam" and be deleted.
We hope that your student uses one account, their HuskyMail. If she or he wants to keep their personal account, the accounts should be kept separate.
The HuskyMail account should be checked often so that important University announcements and deadline reminders are not missed.
